On a clear day,... you can see forever. Just to the left of the white silo directly on the horizon is a small speck. That speck is actually the top of the Sears Tower seen from the Johnson's Mound's sled hill southeast of Elburn.
Elburn is 40 plus miles due west of downtown Chicago. Next month, I have a dinner with the ADA Council on Dental Practice scheduled at the Metropolitan Club on the 67th floor of the Sears Tower. I doubt that I'll be able to make out Johnson's Mound from that reverse vantage point. We will see!
