First Train Out!

What a nice surprise? Village photographer Mary Herra and I got to ride the 4:48 am first train out of Elburn. We just took it to Geneva, and then hitched a ride back to Elburn.

We weren't planning to do that, but it worked out nicely. Here are a few the inaugural riders that shared a first ride with us. That's Norm Berquist hiding under the brim of his hat.
